My yard is quite small – is there a pool design that fits?

I have some last-minute concerns about my pool. Who should I contact?

You are always welcome to express concerns. Contact us any time–click here for our complete contact information. When your pool is complete, the superintendent assigned to your pool will go through an extensive check-list during the final walk-through to make sure that that everything is working perfectly. How soon can you start building a swimming pool?

Usually, we start within 2-3 weeks. The timing depends on the city where you live and how long it takes to get building permits. We begin once you approve the design and we receive the building permits.

How long does it take to building a swimming pool?

A basic pool will take 5-6 weeks. The timeline depends on the complexity of your chosen design. Of course, as with all construction projects, delays may occur because of change orders, weather, and products.

Do you charge for an estimate?

We provide estimates for free. Our design team will meet you at the construction site, discuss the desired features and layout of your pool as well as all accessories and equipment you may be interested in. Then we will meet again to present your design.

Does Hamlin Pools offer financing

How much does it cost to maintain a pool?

The cost of maintenance depends on the size of the pool, the environment around the pool, and the usage of the pool. Electrical and chemical expenses vary. Historical data shows that an average pool costs from $150 to $300 monthly to maintain. Who takes care of the building permit?

Hamlin Pools will do all of the leg work required to obtain the building permit. We feel that the fewer hassles you have to deal with, the more you’ll enjoy your pool building experience.

What is included in the agreement?

Our basic agreement will include the pool shell, usually a minimum of 3’ of Kool Deck, a traditional white plaster finish, all of the basic necessary equipment (pump, time clock, filter, plumbing, equipment slab, auto water leveler, main drains, etc.), taxes, and permits. We offer everything you need to get you swimming in your new Hamlin Pool.

How much does it cost to fill a pool with water?

This one usually surprises our customers! The answer is much lower than you might expect. On average, a standard 12,000 gallon pool will cost $24 to fill. This is based on a cost of $2 per 1,000 gallons of water. Of course, the cost will vary depending on the size of the pool and where it is located.

Do I need to be present during the construction process?

No. Most of the questions we have for our customers can be answered via phone or email. In some cases, a personal meeting on-site will be required. If so, the meeting is usually very brief and we will work around your schedule.We pride ourselves on being dependable, trustworthy, and dedicated. Our staff will take care of your backyard as if it were our own. If you would like to talk with your personal, assigned superintendent, one easy way is on-site during the various construction phases. We love building pools and think the process is fascinating–you might enjoy observing!

What is the least expensive pool your can build?

We can build a small, basic pool starting at around $28,000.

What material are pools made of?

We want your pool to last for a very long time. We only construct in-ground gunite (concrete) pools. Our gunite is computer mixed for consistency, and stronger than the foundation of your house. That is why we offer our Hamlin Pools Lifetime shell warranty to the original owner of the pool, and you can bet we’ll be around to honor that warranty. We won’t compromise our pools: we use the highest-quality materials and equipment available.
